so how is turner/whallbanno/murphy/o'reilly/kenner and what are they like.
i've heard kenner is a monster and banno you either like or hate. and everyone seems to love turner. and whall is insane. but i'd like a bit more.

today was a very summery day.

this studying thing is not getting anywhere.

but i drove on the south main today. turning is quite scary. and some mean person honked at me while i was waiting to turn onto gavin's pond. hey! i was just waiting for enough room.

and rent yesterday was good. not ohmigodthisisamazing but still pretty good. i didn't like angel or roger, at times. roger sounded a lot like fiyero in wicked. they both have really really really amazing falsettos except roger isn't really the falsetto type if you know what i mean.

so friday did some illegal shopping with sarah, tres fun. and got jelly beans.
i love my jelly belly.

so today was my first day of work at saphire manor. its odd to say the least but enjoying. i was the youngest person there and everyone else was in their 30's anad an odd assortment of ppl, some matronly types. bimbos, and a scary guy.
everyone there was like "DON"T TALK TO THE CHEF, he's crazy, and mrs. saphire videotapes everything,s he's also crazy. i felt so much in a group of workers, quite nice i must say comrads.
so i've never had to lift anything so heavy as today. the glass cases almsot broke my hand and the salad trays. i eventually just stuck to serving and filling ppl's glasses with water.
the good part is that you get to eat everything, basically int he kitchen which inculdes a ton of cake. but this lasy, holly, was like i can't fit into my vest (which she couldn't anymore) cuz i gained sooo much weight. yada yada loser.

and i cleaned. its funny how i clean for other but not myself.

okay i smell like roast beef, time to shower.

vacation was short short short. and the weather wasn't that nice. but today i finished my driver's ed classes (except for the test tomorrow).
but driver's ed with gilli was certainly... interesting. like yesterday she kicked out a shoughten girl cuz she was swearing. but the it got into this huge confrontation and the girl's mom came and were fighting. needless to say, gilli called the police. and some really gross and weird girl set the mulch on fire when she was smoking like she does on every break.
also paul collins was in my class half the time and that was just amusing. actually my class is the oddest assorment of people. but it was fun in an odd sort of way.

so last night sarah came over for marshmellows and then we looked at putney stuff. god, i wish i wasn't going to china. and sarah and i were talking about how we wished more of our friends were actually doing SOMETHING. like i'll be at american university from july 6-16 then china from july19-aug 4. maryanne will be working and danielle is in cali. but thats it. everyone else is in sharon... with their mini trips. but if sarah goes to granda or whatever its not like we can come back and share our stories of the summer. sort of like the sisterhood of the traveling pants in a corny way. plus i wouldn't feel so blah about going to china cuz then i'll be kinda excited so we can all share our awesome summers to each other... but we're not.
i hope sarah can do puntey then at least we'll have something to share. and i'm such a loser but i wish we could be like the sisterhood of the traveling pants in a way, like communicate thoughout summer and then share our stories.

soooo...its vacation and i've really done nothing but sleep. thursday i got home and napped. and dinner, went back to sit on the couch for the next couple of hours. fell asleep on the couch so daddy got me a comforter and took off all the extra pillows on the couch for me. i love my daddy.

friday fed nicky his breakfast then daddy dropped him off at day-care so we, mostly daddy, could paint nicholas's room. i kinda got lazy and just ate. but its now blue, Disney's underwater wonders, to be exact. its nice. then i napped from 3-5 cuz i was really tired from nothing. woke up ate went back to the couch and stayed there all night.
detecting a pattern here?

saturday i wasn't so lazy and got a new mattress. yipee. then i went to the cousins in rhode island where i had the first bbq of the year. also we roasted marshmellows on the fire pit they just got. annnndd we made easter eggs. i have to say nicholalalalalaas' is better than mine.

drivers ed starts tomorrow. and i don't know anybody in my sharon driving class. stupid anna the procrastinator. good luck on getting yoru liscense before steptember.

so last sundday was lakeball ball. had too many cookies and rugulah. still i learned how to hustle and samba :)

my thursday jr drama kids are amzingly talented. actually only daniel and cormac. and cormac has one BLUE eye and one BROWN eye!

went to nicole house night. the funniest part must have been when sarah and nicole were laughing like hyenas for no reason then hanna and i made a really stupid joke and almost died from no air. i must say it was the most fun i've had in a while.
so sarah even if we didn't cry, laughter cured us.

annddddd I GOT A JOB on thursday. at Saphire Manor. yay for waitstaff...not... but i get paid $9.00 an hour and its on a on-call basis so i don't always have to work. plus i came in just on time, cuz neither becca, anna, or nicole got hired on the stop like me.

i hope someone is doing "if i never knew you" for the disney revue

okay i want to get this out. becuase no one will let me explain why i don't want to go to china. i'm sick of ppl just telling me its an experience and i'm spoiled blah blah. first off, its entirely different for me cuz my whole family is chinese so its not much of a vacation. all i will be doing is eating in my grandparents house watching tv i don't understand, with the occanional trip to someone i don't knows house where everyone will say "wow, you were so still last time i saw you/ you're so big now/ how's school/ you're 16.... and then be forgotten while they all chat. i can't read anything cuz i barely undersand chinese much less read/ write it. so its gonna be pretty lonely... its always been lonely every single time i went. i used to pray that my my 2 2nd cousins that are semi-close to my age would be free, but they never seemed to be. now they are in college. and i remember the time i went out with them when i was 10. they took along a friend and i was kinda ingored. going to china will kinda be like being at home for 3 weeks straight cuz basically all i will see is my grandparents/ parents/ nicky. heck if i think abou it my old playmate, won't even be there cuz her grandpa is dead so she doesn't visit him anymore...

so okay guys, its probably gonna be the loneist 3 weeks of the year for me. and my mom is just gonna get stressed after seeing her brother. and i'm gonna be ditched even by my parents as they go vist friends. there is no one my age at all. if i think about it some of my cousins are even married now... they are like 27... but they were fun when i was young. but now they ahve husbands. and then it get awkward. cuz i can't say much... but i would like to see the great wall again, but hey there's nicky. he's not gonna last. so i can't even do that.

so please don't yell at me when i say i don't want to go cuz you clearly don't understand my circumstances

and adam ross is a messed up kid. but now even ms. dennis is gonna go and tell his mom that her son should jsut go fall into a ditch. okay maybe a little nicer. but i must say jo handeled him quite well. kudos to jo.

oh yeaaa so today there was a taste test @ the cafeteria
the student council got fed whole wheat pizza (yum), pretzel poppers (nothing special), the milk slammers milky way (you can taste the nougat); 3 musterkkers (tres thick); vanilla (kinda like melted ice cream); and starburst (don't buy), powerade option, 2 kinds of stir-fry, kiwi, pre-packaged apple slices, and something else.

becca's journal entry really made me think.
like how i'm lucky not to worry about going to college except where i'll get in. i mean a scholarship would be mucho nice and i'm likey to take it, but its not nessessary. even for you, nicole, you could still go without a scholarship. also my parents don't have to save for me and nicky at the same time cuz i mean when i go to college hes going to kidnergarten, which is free.
i guess i'm in a really good position right now. i can take nice vacations, even ones i absoutley don't want to go aka. china. but if i think about it the plane tickets alone would be $4,000 if me and mama dear didn't get free tickets from frequent flyer miles. Then we'll be there for like what 2.5 weeks and gods knows what money can be blown then and all the gifts we need to buy.
assuming i got into the summer program thats another 2,500-ish.
then there was aruba and canada. dear lord.
thanks to the unknown sprits for everything.

and then my friends. i don't think any of us really release how much better off we are then most people. all we moan about is what we don't have. its like how sarah goes shopping and comes back with like 289475 new shirts(okay i'm extragerrating). i remember in 8th grade when hanna and i would moan about how we didn't have this from tiffanys, coach etc. well geez, us at 16/15 have more than most grown women.

now i feel really ungrateful. like my mom hardly ever buys anything for herself and my dad. its always me getting this and that.
